I was tasked with creating a new wayfinding system for the KFC branch in Kingsway (Melville) in Johannesburg. I took inspiration from traditional South African patterns to create my symbols as well as a pattern I created for a wall within the KFC. Although, I took inspiration from traditional patterns I then modernised them in order to create a new and current feel.
